Sık Karıştırılanlar
- Type 3Type 3'te hem koşul hem sonuç geçmiştedir (would have + V3); mixed conditional'da ise geçmişteki koşulun sonucu bugüne uzanır (would + V1). Cümlede now, today, still gibi bir ipucu varsa mixed düşün.
- Type 2Type 2 tamamen şimdiki ya da gelecekteki hayali durumu anlatır: If I had money, I would buy it. Koşul kısmında had + V3 görürsen artık Type 2 değil, Type 3 ya da mixed söz konusudur.

Mixed conditional (karışık koşul cümlesi), koşul ile sonucun farklı zamanlara ait olduğu yapıdır. En yaygın türü geçmişteki bir koşulun bugünkü sonucunu anlatır: If I had listened to you, I wouldn't be in trouble now (Seni dinleseydim şimdi başım dertte olmazdı).
Mixed conditional ile Type 3 arasındaki fark nedir?
Type 3'te sonuç da geçmiştedir: If I had studied, I would have passed. Mixed conditional'da ise sonuç bugündedir: If I had studied, I would have a better job now. Ana cümledeki would have + V3 ile would + V1 farkına bak.
