Kişilerarası İletişim Yetkinliği Envanteri (KİYE) consists of 15 items and has 4 subscales: Dinleme Becerisi (4 entries), Sosyal Rahatlık Becerisi (4 entries), Empati Becerisi (4 entries), İfade Becerisi (3 entries).
The scale is of the Likert (5 graded) type; responses are scored as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. The total score is used (0–0). 10. ve 13. maddeler ters puanlandıktan sonra toplam puan 15–75 arasında değişir; yüksek puan kişilerarası iletişim yetkinliğinin yüksek olduğunu gösterir. The Cronbach's alpha internal consistency coefficient of the Turkish form is 0,78; for the subscales: Dinleme Becerisi 0,73, Sosyal Rahatlık Becerisi 0,71, Empati Becerisi 0,76, İfade Becerisi 0,78.
