Dangling modifier = cümle başındaki participial phrase (V-ing/V-ed) cümlenin öznesiyle uyuşmadığında oluşan mantık hatası.

Cümle başındaki V-ing yapısı, virgülden sonra gelen özneyi niteler. Özne uyuşmazsa = dangling modifier.
