Neden Tense Seçimi Önemli?

Akademik İngilizce'de her bölümün geleneksel tense kullanımı vardır. Yanlış tense kullanmak profesyonellik kaybı ve anlam karışıklığı yaratır. Hakemler tense tutarsızlığını eleştirir. Bu kuralları bilmek YDS tense sorularında da avantaj sağlar.

Abstract

Amaç: Past Simple ? "This study investigated..." veya Present Simple ? "This study investigates..."

Yöntem: Past Simple ? "Data were collected through a survey..."

Bulgular: Past Simple ? "Results showed that..." veya Present Simple ? "Results show..."

Sonuç: Present Simple ? "These findings suggest that..."

Introduction (Giriş)

Genel bilgi/kabul görmüş gerçekler: Present Simple ? "Climate change affects agricultural productivity."

Önceki çalışmalara atıf: Present Perfect ? "Several studies have examined..." veya Past Simple ? "Smith (2024) found that..."

Araştırma amacı: Past Simple ? "The aim of this study was to..." veya Present Simple ? "This study aims to..."

Methods (Yöntem)

Tamamıyla Past Simple: "Participants were recruited from...", "Data were analyzed using SPSS.", "The survey was administered online." Yöntem geçmişte yapıldı ? her şey past tense.

Results (Bulgular)

Bulgular: Past Simple ? "Results revealed a significant difference...", "The analysis showed that..."

Tablo/şekil referansı: Present Simple ? "Table 1 shows the demographic characteristics.", "As illustrated in Figure 2..."

Discussion (Tartışma)

Kendi bulgularınız: Past Simple ? "Our findings indicated that..."

Bulgularınızın anlamı: Present Simple ? "This suggests that motivation plays a key role..."
